Today we are making gourd sweet – Bottle Gourd Barfi Recipe or Lauki Burfi Recipe.
Every one likes to eat sweet after eating. And especially if you have any special dessert, it is fun. So today we are telling you to make such a special dessert which you will love very much that is Lauki Barfi or Bottle Gourd Barfi.

Materials Required – Essential ingredients to make Lauki Barfi – Bottle Gourd Barfi

Gourd – 1 kg gram
Sugar – 2 cups
Mawa – 50 grams
Ghee – 2 Tablespoons

Cardamom powder – quarter spoon
Cashew nuts – 8-9
Almond-7-8 Cut in Long Pieces

Method of Making Bottle Gourd Barfi:

1. First of all, grate the gourd and squeeze it well and extract extra water.

2. Put one spoon of ghee in a pan and heat it and put the gourd in it. Cover the gourd for 5 minutes and cook it.

3. Keep gas medium. After the gourd softening, add sugar and cook for 3-4 minutes by mixing it.

4. After this, remove the plate and fasten the flame of the burner and cook till the water starts burning.

5. After burning the water, we have to add Mawa and cashew nuts, almonds, cardamom powder and run it untill thick consistency.

6. Now grease a plate with ghee and spread gourd barfi in it. Put the remaining dried fruits on it.

7. After cooling, cut it in your favorite pieces with the help of knife. Gourd barfi is ready.
